We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to work for one of our clients who are well established in Children’s Residential homes. The successful Candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of running the Home, for medium to long term planned or emergency placements to ensure young people are supported, with their overall care plan needs.

To ensure that high levels of emotional and physical care, appropriate activities, comfortable accommodation and the service of keyworkers are planned, provided and applied in accordance with home’s Procedures and Strategies
You will also be responsible for the leadership and development of staff within a residential service, ensuring that effective systems are in place for workload allocation and management, the application of the companies policies and procedures, including those relating to equality, supervision and appraisal and all aspects of performance, personal development, health and welfare.

Qualifications Essential
Any of the following:
– Dip SW or equivalent
– Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management

– 3 years’ experience working with children in the last 5 years and at least 1 year at senior level
– Supervision or management experience
– Working with children, young people and their families

Starting Salary
£30,000 – £38,000 NVQ5, working towards or equivalent – 2 years’ experience as a deputy manager, residential experience of 4 years

40 hours
